The following items may be set out on your recycling day ion see-through plastic bags:

Clear & Amber glass jars & bottles

 

Examples:
juice, beer, wine and soft drink bottles, food jars such as mayonaise, pickle, baby food, spaghetti sauce, etc.

Empty and rinse jars and bottles. Throw away plastic lids. Metal lids can be recycled.

Tin Cans: Food and Beverage

 

Examples: Soft drink, beer and juice cans, metal jar lids. Food cans for fish, meat, fruits and vegetables.

Empty and rinse all cans. Labels do NOT have to be removed.


Clear & Colored Plastics - - #1 and #2 plastics

 

Examples: Milk, juice and water jugs, detergent, bleach and shampoo bottles, etc. Look for the numbers #1 and #2 on the bottom of the containers.

Empty and rinse all jugs and bottles. Throw lids away.

Paper Products

 

Newspapers & Magazines: Bundle or place in see-through bags.

Cardboard: Remove all contents. Bundle if there are several pieces.


PLEASE PUT ONLY RECYCLABLES LISTED ABOVE IN SEE-THROUGH BAGS.

(Garbage should be placed in standard garbage bags.)

*When in doubt, put it out on garbage day.
