We require an advance payment of $40.00 before we will begin Service. This prepayment establishes your contract with us and will be credited directly to your account. It will pay for most of the first two months of your service.
You must notify us to discontinue service.

| Monthly Rate: |
$23.00 (For a single family household making on-time payments.
Our rates are based on regular household trash & recyclables for a single-family household. After your initial payment is used up, bills will be sent quarterly (every 3 months).
You will receive your statements on the 15th day of February, May, August and November. You must pay on time to keep this monthly rate. Extra charges will be added for late payments. For your convenience, we have a drive-up mail slot at our 1120 E. 5th office. Another mail slot is located to the right of the office door. Checks and money orders, (NO CASH), may be dropped into these mail slots. Cash payments should be made in person at the front desk and you must get a cash receipt in writing from us.

Families wishing to pay monthly may do so but the billing is done only quarterly.
Make your monthly payment of $23.00 at any time during the month that is convenient for you. You MAY want to coordinate your Sunshine payment to some other routine bill, like cable TV, telephone, etc., so you will be reminded each month to make your payment. THEN when your quarterly bill comes, check to be sure that your payments have been recorded properly.

| Pickup days (depending on location): |
Monday for recyclables and Thursday for garbage
OR
Tuesday for garbage and Friday for recyclables.

| Where to put your trash: |
In the alley OR at the curb.
*Trash should be bagged, sacked or boxed with he tops securely tied, stapled, etc., and placed where it is highly visible from truck.
*If you use cans, only regulation, 30 to 33 gallon trash cans with external handles will be dumped. Each can may not exceed 25 pounds.

| Recyclables: |
You may put all of the following together in one bag:
- Clean paper--newspapers, magazines, junk mail, cardboard boxes, egg cartons, etc.
- Plastics --Milk jug weight or heavier. Look for #1 and #2 on the bottom.
- Metal --Food cans, jar lids, aluminum foil products and other small metal items.
- Clear or amber colored glass jars & bottles--Leave the LIDS OFF.

| Holiday Policy: |
Our route men DO WORK all holidays EXCEPT FOR Thanksgiving day and Christmas day. You may put out BOTH garbage and recyclables on the pickup before and after these two holidays. We do have pickup on all other legal holidays. However, on holidays, pickups will be very early and trash must be placed right at the curb or on the alley. Pickups regularly scheduled on the day before or after all holidays will remain on the schedule.

| General Information and Special Regulations: |
*State and local regulations require some items be separated from household trash. These include: building and construction materials, tires, trees, brush and other lawn and landscaping debris, large pieces of furniture, appliances, TV's, computers, monitors, etc.

| Special Pickups: |
*Call 732-4242 anytime, but no later than 4:30 on Tuesday in order to arrange a special pickup for the following Wednesday. There is a separate fee for this special pickup.
